A pair of fraternal organization regalia medallions, which are likely components from a ceremonial chain of office or collar. While sharing stylistic similarities with Masonic lodge jewels, these pieces are specifically identified by their iconography as belonging to the Ancient Order of Foresters (A.O.F.), a British friendly society. Each medallion features a central raised gold-tone dove in flight clutching an olive branch, a traditional symbol of peace and the crest of the order. This motif is set against a vibrant royal blue translucent guilloché enamel background with an engine-turned rayed pattern. The borders are textured and feature raised lettering in a stylized Gothic font reading FRANCE COURT, indicating they belonged to Court France, No. 1957. Each medallion is constructed from gilt-metal and is equipped with a small integral suspension loop at the 9 o’clock position; one medallion retains an additional large metal split ring.
Dimensions: 45mm x 32mm each.
