A collection of vintage Scottish-inspired costume jewellery brooches. The first is a circular openwork brooch featuring a traditional thistle motif with four flower heads and foliage in an antiqued silver-tone metal. It is set with five faceted amber-coloured glass paste stones, comprising a central stone and four smaller stones positioned at the base of each thistle. The reverse features a hinged pin with a C-clasp and an indistinct raised mark. The second is a circular Celtic revival brooch by Miracle, constructed from textured silver-tone metal. It features four rectangular arms with embossed knotwork and floral designs, set with five cabochon glass stones imitating semi-precious agates. These stones include a central purple and white marbled cabochon and four peripheral teardrop-shaped stones in varying shades of green, brown, blue, and purple. The reverse is signed MIRACLE and is fitted with a hinged pin and rolling safety catch.
