This lot comprises two wall mirrors of differing periods and styles. The first is a large Victorian Renaissance Revival style architectural wall mirror or overmantel mirror, constructed from dark-stained hardwood, likely mahogany. The frame is characterised by deep-relief carvings, featuring a prominent pediment with a central carved floral patera and scrolling brackets. The vertical stiles are inset with long panels of repeating foliate and floral motifs. The second item is an Edwardian style oval wall mirror with a mahogany frame. This frame features a scalloped or ogee-moulded decorative edge with a polished finish. Both mirror plates appear clear and in good condition. No maker marks or labels are visible on either piece.
