This lot comprises two pieces of 20th century decorative glassware. The first is a German pressed glass dish from the Walther Glas Siebenstern collection. The circular dish features a scalloped, petal-form rim with spiralling radial ribs. It is decorated with an ombre colour gradient transitioning from deep cobalt blue to turquoise and emerald green, with a frosted clear centre. The underside of the dish bears an original manufacturer’s gold foil label transcribed as ORIGINAL WALTHER GLAS Collection Siebenstern MADE IN GERMANY FABRIQUÉ EN ALLEMAGNE. The second item is a heavy, thick-walled glass bowl of freeform, organic shape with an undulating, pulled rim and a circular base. The glass transitions in colour from a clear amber centre to a deep smoky brown at the thickest points of the rim.
