The subject, frequently identified in the artist’s oeuvre as a miner or industrial worker, is rendered with short, textured hair and a high-collared jacket. The relief is set within a simple integral rectangular border. No artist signature or foundry marks are visible on the front surface of the casting. The piece is cast in bronze with a dark brown primary patina.
