A clear glass dressing table jar of cylindrical form featuring vertical faceted sides and a thick base. The jar is topped with a solid sterling silver pull-off lid. The lid bears a full set of British hallmarks struck to the side of the rim, including the maker’s mark T & S for Tate & Sons (Walter & John Tate), the lion passant for .925 sterling silver, the leopard’s head for the London Assay Office, and the date letter q for 1911.
