A collection of Catholic devotional and liturgical objects comprising several crucifixes of various sizes, constructed from wood and metal. The group features various religious publications including a red-bound edition of The Sunday Missal, A Simple Prayer Book published by the Catholic Truth Society, and a 1921 revised edition of A Catechism of Christian Doctrine. Also included is a commemorative Magnificat booklet for the 2010 Papal visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the United Kingdom. A notable inclusion is a small black leather-bound volume inscribed The will of PHILIP, LORD WHARTON, 1896. Presented 1902. The assortment is completed by a pink beaded rosary, small icons (some housed in a red velvet-lined box), religious figurines in wood and composite materials, and a cast metal relief plaque depicting a religious scene.
