A matching pair of late 19th-century Victorian cased glass lustres. Each vessel is crafted from pink glass cased over a white opaline glass interior. The design incorporates a flared, scalloped upper rim, a bulbous body, a waisted stem, and a spreading circular base. The pieces are hand-decorated with polychrome enamel floral sprigs in blue, white, and yellow tones with green foliage, finished with gilded highlights and line work. Suspended from the upper rim of each lustre is a series of clear cut-glass prismatic drops, consisting of octagonal buttons and long spear-head pendants. No maker’s marks or factory signatures are present.
