This wall-mounted crucifix features a wooden cross decorated with a parquetry veneer arranged in a geometric starburst pattern and framed with gilt-metal edging. Mounted to the cross is a detailed, gilded cast-metal corpus of Christ, rendered with anatomical detail, a crown of thorns, and a draped perizonium. Above the figure is a gilded metal scroll bearing the letters INRI. The style and construction are characteristic of high-quality religious items from the late 19th century,
