This vintage action figure represents the 2-1B Medical Droid character from the Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back film and toy line. The figure is attributed to Kenner or Palitoy and dates to circa 1980. It is constructed from moulded plastic with a teal-green body and silver-coloured painted detailing on the head and arms. A distinctive design feature is the translucent, ribbed midsection which reveals internal mechanical details. The figure retains its original flexible plastic diagnostic hose, which is attached from the chest plate to the left side of the head. It possesses basic articulation at the shoulders and hips. Circular peg holes are present on the soles of the feet. While manufacturer marks are present on the reverse of the legs, they are not clearly legible in the provided images.
