A mid-century studio glass vase of compressed globular form, attributed to Mdina, Malta, The piece is hand-blown from translucent turquoise glass, incorporating internal swirled and streaked patterns in lime green. The form comprises a squat body with a short, waisted neck terminating in a wide, flat flared rim. The rim is fire-polished. Small internal air bubbles, or seeds, are visible within the glass, characteristic of the hand-blown manufacturing process. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
