This lot consists of two solid-body electric guitar bodies of double-cutaway design, commonly referred to as the Superstrat style. Both bodies are constructed from solid wood, likely basswood or alder, with gloss finishes.
The first body is finished in high-gloss black. It is routed for an HSH (humbucker-single-coil-humbucker) pickup configuration and a recessed locking tremolo system. The neck pocket contains indistinct markings and some residue. A small adhesive lot tag numbered 3029 is present on the lower bout.
The second body features an off-white or cream gloss finish. It is routed for an HH (dual humbucker) pickup configuration and a recessed locking tremolo system, with two metal tremolo stud inserts still in situ. The neck pocket is clearly incised with the production stamp ED-9, a code frequently associated with Japanese guitar manufacture from factories such as Fernandes or ESP during the late 20th century.
Both bodies are stripped of all other hardware and electronics. The lot includes only the two bodies as pictured.
