A decorative wall bracket or corbel, designed in the Rococo Revival style. The piece features a semi-circular shelf with a gadrooned rim, supported by a dense, high-relief arrangement of naturalistic flowers including daisies and roses amidst lush foliage. A small hummingbird is depicted at the base, appearing to perch among the blossoms. The item is finished in gold leaf over a dark brown or black bole, which is visible in areas of wear, revealing a composite or wood substrate beneath. The reverse is flat for wall mounting.
