A pair of decorative mantel lustres, also known as girandoles, crafted from heavy cut lead crystal. Each piece features a deep bowl with a crenellated sawtooth rim, supported by a vertically faceted central column with a rounded knop and a flared circular foot. The decorative cutting pattern consists of star-cut motifs set within a diamond-cut lattice grid, which is repeated around the perimeter of the base. Each lustre is hung with eight long, rectangular faceted spearhead prisms, each suspended from an octagonal faceted button by wire hangers. The high lead content is evidenced by the weight and the spectral dispersion visible in the faceted elements. No maker’s marks, signatures, or etched characters are visible on either item.
