A late Victorian or Edwardian five-bottle condiment set presented in a silver-plated stand. The collection consists of matching clear lead crystal bottles, each featuring a deep diamond-cut pattern. The assortment includes two bottles for oil or vinegar with multi-faceted glass stoppers, two shakers with perforated silver-plated screw-tops, and a mustard pot with a hinged silver-plated lid. The silver-plated stand is designed with a wirework frame on a multi-stepped, shaped base and is raised on four bun feet. It is surmounted by a large circular ring handle and features a blank shield-shaped cartouche to the front. The underside of the base is stamped with the model number 1237 above a series of marks including EP, NS, a crest depicting a bird, A, and 1, identifying the material as Electro-Plated Nickel Silver of A1 quality. A central wing-nut assembly on the underside secures the internal structure.
