The front face is decorated with a colour graphic depicting multiple Supermarine Spitfire aircraft in flight against a cloudy blue sky. The graphic includes the text THEIR FINEST HOUR, 1940 in red, and BATTLE OF BRITAIN. The lighter is presented in its original black plastic display box, which includes a Made in USA cardboard insert and a safety instruction leaflet bearing a 2013 Zippo Manufacturing Company copyright. The lighter features a satin silver-tone finish on the sides and reverse. The internal mechanism consists of a standard Zippo windproof chimney insert with a flint wheel and wick.
