Two mid-20th century British wooden mantel clocks. The larger clock on the left features a dark-stained wooden case with an arched top and a plinth base resting on brass bun feet. It has a silvered circular dial with black Arabic numerals and a brass bezel. The smaller clock on the right is an oak-cased mantel clock in the Napoleon hat style, marked Smiths Enfield and Made in Great Britain on the dial. This clock features a two-tone dial with a central wooden section and a cream-coloured chapter ring with Arabic numerals and stylized hands. The lower edge of the oak case is decorated with a band of carved moulding. Both clocks are fitted with mechanical key-wound movements with two winding holes on the dials, indicating time and strike mechanisms.
