A pair of framed 3D architectural dioramas featuring hand-painted relief-moulded elements depicting Venetian building facades. Each shadowbox contains a detailed architectural scene with elements such as windows featuring balconies and floral window boxes, arched doorways with miniature door furniture, and a miniature gondola moored against a painted water surface. The facades are set against painted backgrounds in shades of ochre and terracotta. The dioramas are housed within glazed wooden frames, each finished with an inner rope-twist border and a distressed off-white painted finish. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the pieces.
