This lot comprises three distinct decorative items. The first is a watercolor on paper by the artist J.W. Kerr (1897-1985), depicting a stylized female figure in a flowing blue gown and white hood standing between two floral-entwined stone pillars. The work is signed J.W. KERR and dated 1943 in the upper right corner. It is housed in a wooden frame with a pale green mount. The second item is a Chinese silk embroidery on a silk support, portraying a striped kitten crouched in grass observing a green praying mantis. The piece includes four black calligraphic characters reading 天真活泼 (Innocent and Lively) alongside a red seal mark. It is set in a dark wood frame with bamboo-effect carved moulding. The third item is a decorative brocade textile, likely a runner or sash, featuring an orange and cream floral pattern and a long copper-coloured twisted fringe. This textile is contained within a light-coloured wooden slide-top box, which bears a small trifoliate mark incised to the lid.
