This quarto-sized propaganda cigarette card album was published in 1936 by Cigaretten-Bilderdienst Hamburg-Bahrenfeld and printed by F. A. Brockhaus, Leipzig. The volume is bound in textured orange cloth with the title stamped in gold Fraktur script on the front cover. The interior features a colour frontispiece portrait of the subject by B. Jacobs (1933) with a facsimile signature. The work contains numerous tipped-in black and white photographic cigarette cards depicting various political and military events. The title page is transcribed as follows: Adolf Hitler / BILDER AUS DEM LEBEN / DES FÜHRERS / HERAUSGEGEBEN VOM CIGARETTEN/BILDERDIENST / HAMBURG/BAHRENFELD. The copyright page carries a statement from the NSDAP and identifies the printer as F. A. Brockhaus, Leipzig.
