This lot comprises three fine bone china plates in the Hunting Scene pattern by Crown Staffordshire, England. The decoration features a traditional equestrian fox hunt with riders in red coats and hounds within a landscape setting. The reverse of each plate is marked with a green backstamp including the text Crown Staffordshire England, Estd 1801, Hunting Scene, and the phrase Beloved of horse lovers it depicts the chase in vivid colours.
Accompanying the ceramics is a Masonic presentation book bound in blue grained leatherette. The front cover features a gilt-tooled square and compasses emblem. The interior includes a presentation page inscribed in blue ink: To the Glory of The Grand Architect of the Universe. PRESENTED to our worthy brother G. E. Bird By the Brethren of London Haven Class of Instruction. The page bears handwritten signatures for A. L. Bird (Worshipful Master), E. J. Hind (Senior Warden), and E. J. Stonton (Junior Warden), with a further signature for K. B. Clarke P.G.M. (Past Grand Master).
The lot further includes an assortment of small decorative collectibles consisting of five gold-toned miniature carriage-style clocks with quartz movements, one silver-toned miniature clock in the form of a pig, a faceted crystal desk clock with a Roman numeral dial, a faceted crystal bottle stopper with a metal base, a small black rectangular pocket lighter with a textured finish, and a small specimen of purple amethyst.
