A vintage battery-operated toy robot, identified by printed and embossed marks as the Robie Junior model. The item was manufactured for Tandy (Radio Shack) and is constructed from white and black plastic. It features a rounded body with horizontal venting to the rear and a clear plastic dome head containing two large, translucent red circular eyes. The robot is mounted on a black rectangular base and equipped with two black plastic arm-like protrusions terminating in wheels. The front of the white casing is printed with ROBIE JUNIOR in black capital letters and REMOTE COMMAND INTELLIGENT ROBOT in blue. The Tandy brand name is embossed on the front of the black base.
