A vintage Japanese battery-operated toy car manufactured by Aoshin. This Smoking Volkswagen Beetle features a blue moulded plastic body accented with chrome-effect bumpers and hubcaps. The doors and bonnet are decorated with flower-shaped decals incorporating the Volkswagen logo. The interior features basic seating detail. The mechanism is designed to be powered by two D size batteries to produce stop and go mystery action and a smoke effect from the rear. The toy is accompanied by its original illustrated cardboard box, which features graphics of a red version of the car and the Aoshin logo. The packaging is marked Made in Japan and includes technical descriptions of the toy’s functions.
