A collection of late 19th to early 20th-century religious ephemera comprising a cloth-bound album and approximately 20 prayer cards. The album is bound in green textured cloth with a gilt-embossed landscape and the title Holiday Memories in cursive script. The cover is marked MADE IN ENGLAND on the lower right edge. Inside, the album contains thick brown cardstock pages with die-cut oval and rectangular apertures. The collection features a mix of chromolithographic and monochrome printed holy cards depicting Roman Catholic devotional imagery, including the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lady of Lourdes, the Nativity, and the Crucifixion. The cards include printed text in English, German, and Latin. English inscriptions include Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us and Mary, Virgin Mother of God, pray to Jesus for me (50 days ind. Leo XIII.). German text includes scriptural verses from the Gospels of Luke 22:42 and Matthew 8:26. Latin text includes MATER AMABILIS, ORA PRO NOBIS and VITA MUNDI. Certain monochrome cards bear the alphanumeric codes 423. CASM and 424. CASM.
