A pair of bookends produced from wild olive wood by Weatherwoods. Each piece features a highly polished, curved face showcasing a dense, warm-toned grain. The reverse of each bookend retains its natural dark bark or live edge, providing a textured contrast to the finished surfaces. One bookend retains an original gold-toned oval label which reads: ORIGINAL PRODUCT IN WILD OLIVE BY WEATHERWOODS. The construction displays natural drying fissures and checking characteristic of the timber species.
