A two-part pine kitchen dresser in a country farmhouse style. The upper section features a central open shelving unit with three fixed shelves, topped by a decorative scalloped frieze. This is flanked by two glazed cupboard doors, each containing a single pane of glass and two internal shelves. The unit is crowned with a simple moulded cornice. The base unit comprises three frieze drawers, each fitted with a turned wooden knob handle. Below the drawers are three recessed-panel cupboard doors, also with turned wooden knobs, which open to reveal a single full-width internal shelf. The piece is constructed from pine with a light, natural waxed finish and sits on a plain plinth base. Simple metal hinges and turned wooden knob handles are used throughout. The top rack sits independently upon the base unit for ease of transport. No maker’s marks or labels are present.
