A collection of vintage pocket lighters of various designs and origins. The group features a Ronson Varaflame gas lighter with a brown textured leather-effect wrap, stamped on the base RONSON MADE IN ENGLAND BRIT. PAT. 621570. Included is a slimline, brushed-metal lighter marked RONSON and W.Germ. on the base, indicating West German manufacture. A rectangular lighter with an engine-turned checkerboard pattern is marked on the base edge with MOSDA Streamline MADE IN ENGLAND. Also present is a smaller, rectangular lighter with a mesh pattern, marked JAPAN on its base, and a rounded chrome-plated lighter featuring a diamond-shaped logo on the side. The lighters demonstrate typical construction for the mid-20th century, utilising plated base metals and various decorative finishes including engine-turning and applied textures.
