A collection of six wristwatches issued to celebrate the centenary of the Royal Air Force, covering the period from 1918 to 2018. The set features a variety of designs inspired by historic military aviation timepieces, including trench-style cases with wire-effect lugs, 1940s-style pilot watches, and mid-century field watches. Each watch is constructed with a plated base metal case in either a silver-tone or gold-tone finish. The dials are specifically marked with the text ROYAL AIR FORCE at the top and the dates 1918-2018 at the bottom, with a printed Royal Air Force roundel positioned above the 6 o’clock mark. The dials feature Arabic numeral indices and are presented in assorted colours including white, matte black, and cream. Each watch is powered by a quartz movement and is fitted with an individual strap, ranging from alligator-grain leather and smooth leather to grey woven perlon-style textile. The collection is housed in original windowed cardboard presentation boxes.
