This lot comprises two items: a pair of royal commemorative cufflinks and a vintage folding lorgnette. The cufflinks feature rectangular white metal faces with chamfered corners, decorated with applied gilt-metal insignia. The insignia depicts the St Edward’s Crown positioned above the Royal Cypher of Queen Elizabeth II (EIIR), indicating they are post-1952 commemorative or uniform dress items. The reverse of each is fitted with a yellow metal toggle-back closure. The lorgnette is constructed from yellow metal, likely gold-plated or pinchbeck, and features two circular lens frames joined by a decorative arched bridge. The tapered handle is detailed with an engine-turned textured pattern and terminates in a small suspension ring. It is fitted with a spring-loaded folding mechanism. A small, illegible mark is visible on the interior of the bridge.
