A pair of John Beswick Mr. Men figurines and three softback books by Roger Hargreaves. The figurines are manufactured from glazed earthenware and represent the characters Mr. Lazy and Mr. Clumsy. Each character is depicted in its traditional form: Mr. Lazy as a flesh-coloured, reclined figure wearing a blue hat, and Mr. Clumsy as a green figure with red boots. The circular bases are inscribed on the side with the characters’ respective names in a script font reading mr. Lazy and mr. Clumsy. The undersides of the bases feature the official Mr. Men and Little Miss character logos, the copyright mark for THOIP, and the cursive signature mark for John Beswick. The accompanying softback books comprise three titles: MR. FUSSY, MR. GREEDY, and MR. LAZY, all credited to Roger Hargreaves.
