A trio of Beswick and Royal Albert glazed ceramic figurines depicting the character Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle from the tales of Beatrix Potter. The group consists of one standing figure of the character ironing and two seated figures titled Mrs. Tiggy Winkle Takes Tea. Each piece is constructed from porcelain with hand-painted polychrome decoration in tones of brown, pink, and white. The standing figurine features a backstamp for Beswick England with a 1948 copyright date and a black handwritten decorator mark 35. One seated figurine is marked Royal Albert England and dated 1989, featuring a brown handwritten decorator mark 99. The second seated figurine is marked Beswick Made in England and dated 1989 for Royal Doulton, and includes a blue paper inspection label for S. Bankston alongside a brown handwritten decorator mark 5.
