A hand-painted fine bone china figurine by Royal Doulton, depicting Anne Boleyn as part of the Six Wives of Henry VIII collection. The figure is portrayed in traditional Tudor attire, featuring a deep crimson gown with a blue-grey scrolling patterned forepart and voluminous white sleeves with green accents and ermine-style lining. She wears a classic French hood headdress and is accompanied by two dogs: a small brown and white spaniel held in her right arm and a greyhound resting at her feet. The figurine is finished with a high-gloss glaze and hand-applied gilded highlights to the neckline and skirt borders. The underside of the base bears the Royal Doulton lion and crown factory mark, the model name Anne Boleyn, and the model number HN 3232. It is identified as a limited edition of 9,500, with this specific piece hand-numbered 5718. The base also features a facsimile signature of the designer, Peter Parsons, a 1990 copyright date, an inspection sticker marked TE, and a yellow inventory label. Green felt pads are attached to the underside of the base.
