A Royal Doulton porcelain figurine of Jane Seymour, model HN 3349, from the Tudor Queens series. The hand-decorated figure depicts the third wife of King Henry VIII in traditional 16th-century Tudor costume, including a gable hood headdress and a gown in tones of pink and blue with intricate scrolling patterns. The attire is finished with large fur-lined oversleeves and gilt highlights to the jewellery and dress borders. The figure is positioned next to a sculpted stone-effect pedestal which holds a pink vase and a lute. The underside of the base bears the Royal Doulton factory mark, the model name, and the number HN 3349. It is identified as number 2796 from a limited edition of 9,500. The base also features the printed signature of the modeller Peter Parsons, a copyright date of 1991, hand-painted initials BJ, and a paper inspection sticker signed by H. Watkiss.
