An assortment of world coinage featuring issues from the UK, Germany, and the US, housed within a decorative wooden box. Notable pieces include a West German 5 Deutsche Mark coin, a UK George VI crown or half-crown, and several smaller European silver-coloured coins. The collection contains a significant proportion of copper and bronze denominations, including a holed George III penny, Victorian and later UK pennies, US wheat cents, and German pfennigs from the Bank Deutscher Länder and Bundesrepublik periods. Other items include 12-sided brass threepence pieces and a large architectural commemorative medallion. The coins are variously stored loose, in plastic pocketed pages, and in individual polyethylene bags. The rectangular box features a lid with intricate marquetry inlay, depicting a central cartouche surrounded by scrolling foliate patterns in contrasting wood veneers.
