A vintage cast brass decorative sculpture of a carp or koi fish. The figure features a textured, scaled body and is set with two faceted red glass stones for eyes. The construction comprises a primary cast body with separate pectoral and pelvic fins secured with slotted screws. It is mounted upon an integral, openwork cast base decorated with stylized scrolling aquatic motifs. No maker’s marks, stamps, or signatures are visible on the object.
