A collection of decorative brassware comprising a matching pair of octagonal wall plaques and a set of door finger plates. The plaques feature central pressed relief panels depicting a bucolic rural genre scene with multiple figures engaged in outdoor activity. This central scene is enclosed within a wide decorative border consisting of repeating foliate scrolls and insect motifs resembling bees. The items are constructed from stamped or pressed brass. One plaque retains a small white adhesive label marked 4742. No maker marks are visible on these items, which are in the style of late 19th or early 20th century English decorative brassware.
The set of four door finger plates is designed in the Art Nouveau style, featuring characteristic fluid whiplash lines and stylized floral bud motifs. These plates are made of pressed brass and include pre-drilled mounting holes at the corners and sides for attachment to a door. The reverse of the plates is undecorated.
