Buyer's Premium:

This Art Deco period footed vase is crafted from pale green uranium glass with a satinised, frosted finish. The piece is characteristic of Bohemian glass production from the 1930s, often attributed to the Ingrid line by Curt Schlevogt or the factory of Josef Inwald. The body is decorated in high relief with a continuous frieze depicting a dancing female figure amongst billowing drapery and stylised floral motifs. The upper rim is finished with a band of vertical ribbing. The vessel stands on a flared tripartite foot with moulded leaf decoration. Under ultraviolet light, the glass exhibits a strong neon-green fluorescence, confirming the presence of uranium within the glass melt. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the base or body of the item.
Height: approximately 11 cm.
