A Royal Crown Derby porcelain paperweight depicting a stylized seated rabbit. The figurine is manufactured from white English bone china and decorated with a repeating leaf or feather motif in cobalt blue and 22ct gold gilding. The base of the piece bears a red printed factory backstamp featuring the crown symbol above an interlaced D and V monogram, surrounded by the words Royal Crown Derby and English Bone China. To the left of the backstamp is the Roman numeral date cipher LIV, which identifies the year of manufacture as 1991. The piece is fitted with its original gold-coloured stopper, embossed with the company name and crest, denoting it as a first-quality item. There are also small hand-painted decorator marks in pink pigment on the underside.
