A large decorative vessel of bulbous form, hand-constructed from sections of copper sheet. The upper section features three overlapping horizontal bands of a contrasting yellow metal, likely brass, each with a decorative serrated or dog-tooth lower edge. These bands are secured to the main body with multiple rows of visible round-head rivets. The vessel has a short, flared neck. The rugged construction and decorative riveting suggest a 20th-century vernacular origin, frequently associated with decorative metalwork from North Africa or the Middle East. Note: The artificial gerbera daisies shown in the images are for display purposes only and are not included as part of the vessel description.
