A small dark oak side cabinet or bedside cupboard constructed in the Tudor Revival style. The rectangular top with overhanging edges sits above a pair of cupboard doors. Each door is decorated with a relief-carved panel featuring a stylized foliate motif set within a carved arch. The doors are fitted with turned wooden knobs and decorative metal butterfly-style hinges. The cabinet is supported by an open base consisting of two turned front legs and square-section rear legs, all joined by a lower tier shelf and perimeter stretchers. The piece is finished in a dark stain. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the exterior, although the design is characteristic of mid-20th century reproduction furniture produced by manufacturers such as Wood Bros (Old Charm) or Jaycee. A small adhesive stock label is present on the upper left side.
