Another Great Auction
A trio of vintage suitcases dating from approximately the 1930s to the 1970s. The uppermost suitcase is a teal blue hardshell model from the mid-20th century, likely circa 1960s-1970s, featuring a matching blue molded plastic handle and two polished metal flip-down latches with integrated locks. The middle suitcase dates to circa 1940s-1950s and features a brown and tan textured woven tweed-style fabric exterior. It is detailed with dark brown reinforced corner guards and a molded brown plastic handle, secured by two metal latches with a visible keyhole on the left-hand side. The bottom suitcase is an earlier rectangular model, circa 1930s-1950s, constructed from cream-coloured fiberboard or a similar composite material. This larger piece includes metal rivet detailing along the top and bottom edges and reinforced brown trim. All three items feature metal hardware components. No internal labels or maker’s marks are visible.
