A contemporary Indian hardwood low coffee table in the Thakat style. The piece is constructed from solid tropical hardwood, typically Sheesham or Mango wood, with a rectangular top composed of multiple planks. The surface is decorated with twelve large, circular iron studs or rivets positioned along the perimeter and central seam. The table features a deep, plain apron and is supported by four chunky, turned bulbous legs. No maker marks or stamps are visible on the item. A small white rectangular inventory label with the black printed numerals 405 is attached to the upper right corner of the tabletop.
