Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises an assortment of boxed and loose glassware and lead crystal items, primarily from the late 20th century. The collection includes various drinking vessels such as champagne flutes and hi-ball glasses, along with decorative cut crystal pieces. Identified manufacturers and brands from the visible retail packaging include John Jenkins, Stuart Crystal, Padova, and Versailles. One silver-toned box is printed with the John Jenkins mark, featuring a blue octagonal border and cursive script above the text International Porcelain Crystal and Glass. A black box bears the stuart CRYSTAL brand name in white lowercase font. Several grey boxes for the Padova range specify sets of four crystal flutes made with more than 24 per cent PbO, described as genuine lead crystal. Other items include a set of four Bistro hi-ball glasses in a blue box and items labeled English Handmade Crystal. Decorative pieces include a loose, partially wrapped item featuring a deep-cut diamond or waffle pattern. The drinking vessels generally exhibit classic forms, with the Padova flutes showing slender stems and elongated bowls. The items are housed in a mixture of original retail packaging and repurposed cardboard containers, including one from Lvalvale Ltd, England.
