This collection consists of 22 items of souvenir and commemorative ceramic and metal ware, including plates, dishes, mugs, and ashtrays. The pieces are primarily glazed earthenware and porcelain, featuring transfer-printed decorations and gilded or lustre-painted rims. Notable items include a large plate with a brown rim for the 1977 Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, a plate commemorating the 1972 Silver Wedding Anniversary, and a large plate depicting the Houses of Parliament in London. The lot also includes international souvenir items from locations such as New York City, San Francisco, Banff, Niagara Falls, Alberta, and Paris. A large metal-finished plate is embossed 1776 America’s Bicentennial 1976 and 200 Years of Liberty. Drinkware comprises five assorted mugs, including one marked Mayfield Cathedral, and a small tankard with a blue decorative band and a metal-mounted lid. Several plates feature decorative pierced or scalloped borders.
