This archive comprises a comprehensive collection of historical photographs and documents relating to a member of the Palestine Police Force during the British Mandate period. The collection includes two large-format group portraits on printed mounts. The first is titled Palestine Police Training School T Squad 1943, featuring a printed list of squad members and instructors including J.J.C. Wallace, C.W.J. Fowler, and T.J.D. Quinsee. This mount is credited to John Nazarian, Photographer, Jerusalem. The second mount is titled Police Training School Promotional Course April – June 1943, featuring an index of names including F.H. Mann, A.W. Alexander, and G.W. Dack. The archive contains two photo albums, one with a textured grey card cover and another with black pages, containing numerous small-format black and white snapshots of uniformed personnel, Palestinian landscapes, and historical sites. Also included is a typed index list titled SET Nr. 18. (Nr. 181 – 190) which identifies topographical views such as Sunset on Lake of Tiberias, Mosque of Omar, Jerusalem Railway, and Mt. of Olives with the Garden of Gethsemane. The entire collection is stored within a mid-20th-century grey hardshell suitcase with metal latches and leather-covered handles.
