Another Great Auction
A pair of novelty sterling silver cufflinks cast in the form of vintage three-wheeled motor cars. Each cufflink is fitted with a hinged toggle-back fastener. One toggle bar is struck with a set of hallmarks comprising a maker’s mark appearing to be L&S, the anchor assay office mark for Birmingham, the lion passant for sterling silver, and a date letter. The corresponding toggle is stamped 925. The automotive forms are detailed with moulded features including the windows, wheels, and front bodywork.
