This collection consists of two distinct groups of ceramic items. The first group comprises British Royal commemorative ware, including earthenware and ironstone pieces. Identifiable items include a King George V and Queen Mary Silver Jubilee mug (1910-1935), multiple King George VI and Queen Elizabeth coronation mugs dated May 12th 1937, and a Queen Elizabeth II coronation cup, saucer, and small square dish dated June 2nd 1953. These items are decorated with polychrome transfer-printed portraits and heraldic symbols. The second group is a partial Japanese porcelain service of eggshell type, including a tall lidded pot, cups, saucers, and a small open bowl. The decoration features traditional landscape scenes of Mount Fuji, pagodas, and cherry blossoms, executed with transfer-printed outlines and hand-painted enamel highlights in blue, pink, and orange tones.
