A collection of early to mid-20th century footwear and textiles. The group includes a pair of lady’s Edwardian black leather ankle boots, dating from approximately 1890 to 1915, featuring a side-button closure with circular black buttons, rounded toes, and low-stacked heels. The footwear also includes a pair of white canvas lace-up plimsolls with metal-reinforced eyelets and white cotton laces, alongside a pair of white canvas Mary-Jane style bar shoes with a single instep strap and decorative concentric stitching on the toe caps. One canvas shoe bears a small adhesive tag marked 1523. Accompanying the footwear are woollen textiles including a heavyweight cream wool blanket with a thick felted texture and blanket-stitched edges in matching yarn, and a mustard-yellow wool blanket or fabric length of similar felted construction.
