Another Great Auction
This lot contains two items including an Armand Marseille Dream Baby doll and a vintage tea cozy doll. The Armand Marseille doll features a dark-toned bisque socket head with molded hair, brown glass eyes, and an open mouth showing two lower teeth. The figure is dressed in an antique cream-coloured satin or silk gown with a lace-trimmed collar and hem. The second item is a vintage tea cozy doll consisting of a ceramic half-doll bust wearing an orange tunic and white ruff collar, attached to a hand-knitted wool skirt with alternating red and brown stripes. The lot is accompanied by a handwritten provenance note detailing the history of the manufacturer and a specialist dealer invoice from Oxfordshire, UK, dated 18th April 2001.
