Another Great Auction
This collection includes an assortment of decorative items and provincial ephemera. The glassware comprises two vases: one of flared form decorated with a mosaic of multi-coloured translucent glass squares in shades of amber, emerald green, and cobalt blue set in dark grout; the second is a bulbous vase featuring overlapping scalloped glass pieces with an iridescent pearlescent finish resembling fish scales. Included are a pair of rectangular wall mirrors, each with a black frame accented by a silver-tone beaded border. Nautical-themed items include three stylized wooden shorebird figurines on white-painted piling stands with rope and shell details, and a school of fish sculpture featuring wooden fish in white, grey, and black mounted on horizontal rods. The lot is completed by five vintage Belgian provincial identification tags from Antwerpen, West-Vlaanderen, Brabant, and Limburg, with dates ranging from 1979 to 1982.
